VILLA NO.15

Principle Architects: Mina Saadatfard, Ali Arzaghi

Design Team: Parham Ostovar, Farnaz Haghi

Visualization Team: Saman Gholami Shirazi, Sahba Sadeghizadeh

Phase 2: Nima Bahrami

Project Manager: Ali Taghavi

Client: Mr Rohani

Year: 2024

Location: Kohmare Sorkhi

In the Villa No.15 project, the client’s primary request was to preserve the existing structure at the ground level while maintaining a clear boundary for private spaces. This constraint eliminated the possibility of organizing public and private domains along the vertical section, thus directing the design strategy toward a horizontal spatial organization within the plan.

The project’s spatial order was achieved through a series of sub-courtyards, conceived as mediating elements that draw the garden inward and dissolve the rigid threshold between interior and exterior. These interstitial pockets introduce daylight and ventilation while providing semi-private open spaces directly accessible from each functional zone.
